Avro CF-100 Mk 5 409 Sqn Royal Canadian Air Force This is a FS5/FSFS aircraft created by Keith Clifford. The aircraft depicted in this FS5/FSFS creation is an Avro Canada CF-100 Mk 5 All Weather Interceptor which served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in the late 1950's and early 1960's. This particular aircraft flew with 409 Squadron at RCAF Station Comox, British Columbia. |

Avro Canada CF-100 Mk5D 414 Squadron Canadian Armed Forces After 1964 the remaining CF-100s were converted to CF-100 Mk5 D status. The Mk5 D was an electronic warfare aircraft dedicated to testing NORAD and NATO defences. It served with 414 Electronic Warfare squadron which was based at CFB North Bay. The CF-100 continued in this role until the early1980's when it was retired mainly due to scarcity of engine parts. The aircraft depicted is serial 100757. It is currently displayed at the National Aviation Museum Ottawa. |

X-Plane 8.40 | The CF-100 was a Canadian designed interceptor that assured the defence of the North American territory in the 50`s and the 60`s. This twin engined aircraft could become supersonic in a shallow dive and was flown by a crew of two. The Mk IV depicted here was equipped with a gun pod in a ventral section between the two Orenda reactors and with rockets contained in wing tip pods. Added the functional guns in the ventral pod and the controls for firing. made it v.8.40 compatible. Added clear cockpit and improved autopilot, 9 april 2006. CF-100 RCAF . This is a Repaint of Alpha Sims CF-100 “Canuck” Paint Scheme is From the Royal Canadian Air Force Squadron 445 known as the Wolverines.. Aircraft is Circa 1957 No. 445 (All-weather Fighter) Squadron was formed at North Bay, Ontario, on 1 April 1953 and relocated at Uplands, Ontario, five months later. At the beginning of November 1956 the squadron flew overseas to join No. 1 Fighter Wing at Marville, France, as the first CF-100 unit in the R.C.A.F.'s No. I Air Division. The squadron number is the second new number created in the R.C.A.F. since the end of the Second World War. On the withdrawal of CF-100 aircraft from operational service, the squadron was disbanded on 31 December 1962. This is a complete aircraft. Textures by Mark Fireball Rooks. Panel Phil Perrott.
